Question banks and mock exams
Study by topic, saved questions, timed and mock exams, review of every attempt, analytics and spaced repetition — as in SmartFRCS and SmartMRCS.
Exam preparation · Question banks · AI viva
I build the platforms medical educators run their teaching on: exam preparation for postgraduate candidates, question banks, mock exams, courses and cohorts — on the web and in iOS and Android apps.

What I build
Exam preparation is daily, mobile and high-stakes. The platforms I build for it are designed for that reality.
Study by topic, saved questions, timed and mock exams, review of every attempt, analytics and spaced repetition — as in SmartFRCS and SmartMRCS.
Oral-exam rehearsal where the candidate answers aloud, is questioned on what they said, and receives a band-scored report — as in Smart FRCS AI.
Course catalogues, cohorts with waitlists, guideline libraries and payments for independent educators — as in MRCOG With Rana.
Published work
Every link goes to the real product or its store listing.

What's included
Every platform is scoped to the institution. These are the parts that come up most often:
How it works
No fixed promises before the facts are known. Timelines and cost come from the agreed scope, and you see progress at every milestone.
We talk through the idea, the users and the constraints. You get an honest view of whether — and how — to build it.
A written scope with milestones and an estimate based on it, so you know exactly what is being built.
Flows and screens you can click through and approve before any development starts.
Development in agreed stages, with working builds you can review as the work progresses.
Final testing, deployment and — for apps — store listings and submission.
Updates, fixes and the next version, under the support arrangement we agreed.
Founder-led
You won't be passed to an account manager. You talk to the engineer who designs your product and answers for it.

Questions
Yes. I am the exclusive technical partner to algarra7 Ltd (SmartFRCS, Smart FRCS AI, SmartMRCS) and, separately, to 123Med Ltd (eMRCOG) — two UK-registered medical education companies — and the technical partner behind Dr Rana's MRCOG With Rana.
Both. eMRCOG runs on Moodle with a custom theme; SmartFRCS is a custom platform. The right choice depends on your content, your candidates and how much you need to own.
You do — or your faculty. I build the tools to write, review and publish it; clinical accuracy stays with the educators.
Usually, yes. Questions kept in Word, spreadsheets or another platform can be imported once their structure is mapped: stems, options, answers, explanations, images and topic tags. I review a sample first and tell you what will import cleanly and what needs an editor's pass.
Your questions, explanations and course material remain yours. Ownership of the platform code, the store listings and the hosting accounts is agreed in writing before work starts.
Digital subscriptions bought inside an iOS or Android app usually go through Apple or Google in-app purchase; on the web they go through an online payment gateway. The platform keeps one record of what each candidate can access, however they paid.
It depends on what the product has to do: features, user types, integrations and the systems behind it. After a discovery call you get a written scope and an estimate based on it — not a number guessed in advance.
That also comes from the scope. Once we agree on it, you get a milestone plan with the order in which features will be delivered.
With me, directly. I lead the project from the first call; when specialists are needed, I bring them in and stay responsible for their work.

Your message comes straight to me. I'll reply personally with questions that sharpen the plan, an honest read on scope, or a clear no if I'm not the right fit.
