Overview

What it is

Dr Rana's students know her by her method. Taking that teaching online meant more than uploading videos: MRCOG uses question formats a simple quiz tool cannot model, and candidates expect courses, cohorts and practice in one place — under the teacher's own name, paid for the way they already pay.

Candidates practise in a question bank that handles single-best-answer, extended-matching and multiple-response questions, take courses made of modules with video, article and resource lessons, pick up where they left off, and join cohorts — with a waitlist when a cohort is full. Plans bundle the question bank, exclusive exams and selected courses, and courses can also be bought on their own.

The question model is relational and faithful to the source: shared EMQ option banks, answer keys, media, corrections and review flags, with one grader on the server mirrored in the client, so every format is graded the same way. Website payments run through Fawaterk. The web platform is live; iOS and Android applications are under development on the same codebase. The DRM capture shield later used to protect SmartMRCS was first engineered here.
